The Greatest Conspiracy

The resurrection of Jesus Christ was considered a conspiracy.

The Pharisees said Jesus’ disciples had stolen his body.

In his dialogue with a nonbelieving Jew, Justin Martyr (AD 100–165) also refers to these early attempts to explain away the empty tomb of Jesus: “Yet you not only have not repented, after you learned that He rose from the dead, but, as I said before you have sent chosen and ordained men throughout all the world to proclaim that a godless and lawless heresy had sprung from one Jesus, a Galilean deceiver, whom we crucified, but his disciples stole him by night from the tomb, where he was laid when unfastened from the cross, and now deceive men by asserting that he has risen from the dead and ascended to heaven.”

When people call every thing they disagree with a “conspiracy theory” it usually means it is just easier to believe the majority opinion than to stand against the crushing weight of political, satanic power. Be careful of taking the path of least resistance to ease your life’s journey.  Remember, this world is not our home. They hated our Master so they will hate us more, and like Moses, we need to reject the treasures of this world, and the favor of this world and all that is offered to us in exchange for our soul. The disciples gave their lives for a “conspiracy” that the world tried to stamp out, but that fire went on to change the course of history and grant eternal life to all who believe.
