Did you know? - Fun Facts about Dickson Baptist Church

Did you know - During the 1950s, Dickson had over 200 kids in VBS and it lasted for two weeks. Vivian Reaser was the director of VBS for many years.

Did you know - Dickson built a new Falls Creek cabin in 1974. It was considered fancy since it had air conditioning and indoor plumbing. It holds 80 people with a pastor and a cooks quarters. Dickson still has the cabin. Benny Perkins manages the cabin for the church.

Did you know - During a business meeting on May 29th, 1991, Ward McCaskill moved to confer upon Harvey G. Albright the honor of Pastor Emeritus of Dickson Baptist Church. The motion was seconded and the motion was carried.

Did you know - The church sold the parsonage in 2012 and moved the youth parsonage in 2014.

Did you know - The church needed to fix the plumbing on the parsonage before the sale. Skip Delsigne called a plumber and gave him the address. The plumber replied, “Is that Harvey’s house?” The plumber performed the work for free since it was “Harvey’s house”.
