Church Services during the Month of November

After taking into consideration the current state of the pandemic in Oklahoma and Oklahoma City, it is out of an abundance of caution that we will cancel services during the month of November. We will reassess the situation for the first Sunday of December. We will continue to be in contact with everyone. Please let me know or Jack Dickson any concerns or requests that you have.

Jack will be at the church each Sunday to collect the offering and the shoeboxes. He will be there from 11:00 am to 11:30 am this morning. We must have all shoeboxes by Sunday, November 22nd. The last day of the national collection week is the following Monday. Therefore, it very important that we have them all back. Extra shoe boxes are at the church. Right now, we have collected 10 shoe boxes. I want to thank everyone for their effort.

In December, we will collect for the Lottie Moon offering. Christmas is not very far away. Actual, Thanksgiving is about 2 and 1/2 weeks away too.

Please be in prayer for the church, city, state, and country. It sure does need it. Again, thank you for all your help. It is greatly appreciated. I hope you have a wonderful day.

In the love of our Lord Jesus Christ

Pastor James

1 John 2:15–17 (MEV) — 15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 The world and its desires are passing away, but the one who does the will of God lives forever.
